Name the period you want back
Describe the next situation in concrete terms: reading until lunch, finishing an assignment or putting the phone aside at 11 p.m. That is more actionable than deciding the whole day should contain less scrolling.
Choose a period that fits the rest of your plans. If you need the app for a particular task, leave room for that work rather than treating every visit as the same kind of use.
Select the app and the tools you still need
Lesscue's Block design lets you save TikTok in a named app group through Apple's picker. Review the selected apps, then check Always Allowed for essentials such as navigation or your usual communication tools. The examples on this website are not automatic exceptions.
If TikTok is also selected in Always Allowed, that exception takes priority within Lesscue. Check both selections if a boundary seems to have no effect. The point is to make the intended setup visible before it begins.
Choose a timer or a recurring schedule
For one piece of work, prepare a focus session with the saved group and the duration you want. The immersive screen removes the tab bar and places the timer in the Glass Wings scene. The active session stays in that scene until it ends, with no tab navigation to Home, Block or Insights.
For a repeated evening boundary, create a schedule with its own start, finish and repeat days. An overnight example might run from 23:00 to 07:00 the next morning. Those are illustrative times, not a recommended sleep prescription.
Keep the boundary understandable
Inspect how an early finish works before starting. Lesscue shows the ending conditions before the commitment and keeps an active session in its dedicated focus scene. A restriction should not be described as impossible to bypass or guaranteed to work under every device condition.
Account sign-in is separate. Your saved groups and session history are local by default. Cloudflare sign-in cannot recreate them after deletion. Optional Pro-only iCloud sync is planned separately and is not connected in the current app. Keep that distinction in mind when resetting or changing devices.
Review the situation afterward
After the period, ask whether the task was ready and the necessary tools stayed available. If the setup was awkward, change the next group's selection or schedule instead of adding more restrictions without a clear reason.
Recorded session minutes show elapsed time, not proof of continuous attention. For the next study period, the study-session guide helps connect the timer to a specific piece of work.
