Lesscue is in development. Product-specific guidance describes the current native development build. Public App Store availability has not been announced. Website screens use illustrative data.

The practical answer

An empty or incomplete report is missing evidence, not automatic proof of zero screen time. Lesscue displays the information Apple supplies through its report extension separately from its own focus history. Start with authorization, the selected period, and the report’s availability state before changing your blocking setup.

A setup to try

  1. Check the selected reporting period and whether it includes completed local days. Read any partial-data or unavailable-state message before interpreting the total.
  2. Confirm Screen Time authorization remains available. Reopening the app can refresh its state, but repeated reloads cannot manufacture information the system has not supplied.
  3. Compare the same period with iPhone Screen Time and note any device-scope difference. Do not assume a combined Apple report is necessarily limited to this physical iPhone.
  4. If you contact support, describe the missing field and period without sending a full browsing history. A useful report distinguishes unavailable totals, missing pickups, and an empty app breakdown.

Does an empty Screen Time chart mean I used my iPhone for zero minutes?

No. Empty data can indicate unavailable reporting, a permission issue, or a period without supplied results. Lesscue should preserve that uncertainty instead of displaying a reassuring zero. Check the report state and date range before using the chart to evaluate a change in habits.

Why are focus sessions visible while Apple usage numbers are missing?

They come from different sources. Lesscue stores its own session records locally, while Apple supplies Screen Time data to a report extension. One source can be available when the other is not. Your visible focus history is not a substitute for missing device-usage evidence.

Why does Today look much lower than yesterday?

Today is an unfinished period, and its information can still change. Yesterday may represent a complete local calendar day. Compare the same kinds of periods, and check supplied-data indicators before concluding that usage has fallen sharply or that a new routine caused the difference.

What should I check if pickups are absent but app minutes appear?

Treat pickups as an independently supplied field, not something that can be reconstructed from minutes. The app should show the metric only when the report provides it. You can still review available usage without assuming the absent pickup count is zero or estimating it from app openings.

Can I force Lesscue to recover every missing day of Apple Screen Time history?

Lesscue cannot promise recovery of data that Apple’s reporting interface does not return. Recheck authorization and the selected range, then preserve the missing-data distinction. Resetting local focus history is not a reliable method for recovering Apple’s separate historical usage information.

Why might Lesscue and iPhone Settings show different totals for what looks like one day?

First check date boundaries, the selected period, and device scope. A report can be partial or reflect a different set of devices and fields. Record those differences before treating the numbers as a calculation error; the labels matter as much as the displayed total.

Does the report list every website I visited in a private browser tab?

No. Lesscue does not promise a complete browsing history or private-tab history. Browser reporting depends on the system and browser integration, and some usage fields may be absent. A missing domain should not be interpreted as proof that the site was never opened.

Should I delete and reinstall Lesscue to fix a blank report?

Do not make deletion your first troubleshooting step, especially when you keep local-only records. Start with authorization, period selection, and report availability. Reinstallation can remove local data and does not establish that Apple will return previously unavailable Screen Time information afterward.

Can the weekly review notification arrive before the report is complete?

Yes. A reminder opens the review destination; it does not certify that Apple has supplied every field for the week. Read the report’s actual coverage when you open it. If information is incomplete, postpone the comparison rather than treating the reminder as a completion signal.

What is the smallest useful support report for missing Insights data?

Name the missing metric, chosen period, iOS version, and whether Screen Time access is authorized. Explain whether Lesscue session history still appears. Share only the minimum screenshots needed, with personal app names or domains obscured if you do not want them included.
